Dragon*Con was fun for the most part. Lots of Mockingbird for me (mostly modern but did classic for a bit too), lots of photoshoots out in the humidity, and bringing con crud home with us.
The big bummer for me was being interrogated three separate times about my comics knowledge - literally “because you’re a girl in a costume”. I’ve being going to conventions for years, all of them in costume, and have never before been bullied into convincing people that I actually read the source material. I was incredibly disappointed.
Had a great time with friends, at least.
Kevin came home with a surprise for me - I finally own this! I’d almost forgotten it was due out this summer, I’ve been waiting so long.
